Who provides sedation / anesthesia in your dentist’s office?
Dr. McCarty will be performing the anesthesia for the planned procedure. This will allow your dentist to
concentrate solely on the dental procedure. Having two experienced practitioners concentrating on their
specific responsibilities is without question safer than a single doctor overseeing both the surgical and
anesthetic aspects of the procedure. Dr. McCarty has completed an anesthesiology postgraduate
training residency program at the Mount Sinai Hospital, located in New York, NY.
